K.I. Sheet Cooler (KISC5)
Sheet Cooler is used to cool the sheets after baking. Sheet cooler is electrically operated and controlled by the automatic baking machine and the creamer respectively. Depending on the size of the wafer sheet we have a series of Sheet Cooler Machines.

Gentle delivery of the wafer sheets is done via a guide to the conveyor belt. Rotating soft brushes remove the “baking pearls”. There is a waste container for the baking pearls cyclically controlled chain of bows is provided for lifting the wafer sheets in traverse position. There is a efficient cooling and stress-relieving in the ambient air due to a constant dwell period of the sheets in the machine.

Stacked wafers can be easily removed from the buffer unit (optional). The sheets are delivered gently onto the following creaming machine. There is an easy access for the purpose of cleaning and maintenance. Contact parts of the products are made of stainless steel construction.

The wafers are passed for following processing to either a creamer or an intermediate container integrated in the machine (optional).
 
ARCH TYPE “WAFER SHEET” COOLING MACHINE (KISC6)
SHEET COOLER
Sheet Coolers are used to cool the baked wafer sheets in ambient air. The baked wafer sheets enter the Arch Sheet Cooler. Where uniform cooling & stress relieving takes place. They are then fed to the creaming machine for further process. Wafer Sheets up to a size of 470X290mm can be handled by these types of arch coolers and can be custom designed as per client’s requirement. The wafer sheets are fed into pairs of metallic wire brackets which are positioned to each other. The wire brackets are fastened to a pair of endless roller chains forming an endless chain of holders. Sensing device notes when a sheet has been placed in a bracket and signals the motor to advance the chain one step so that an empty bracket awaits the next wafer sheet.

The carrier brackets, guide plates, and all other components of the unit coming into contact with the product are fabricated from stainless steel. Wear-resistant plastic rails are used to guide the carrier chain. The cooler is fabricated from modular components thus allowing the length, width and carrying capacity to be varied easily and as required.

WAFER CREAMING MACHINE

Creaming Spreading Machines can apply a wide range of creams to all these kinds of wafer sheets. Normally these machines operate on the contact system but can also be supplied with an additional device for creaming by the film system.
 
Manual Wafer Creaming Apparatus
It is a simple stenciling apparatus. The sheet holder is designed to hold the sheet in place and allow desired cream application. A knife is used for spreading the layer of cream for sandwiching the wafer biscuits. The apparatus can be attended by an unskilled operator as well. It aids in the process of manual spreading of fat cream on flat wafers.
 
Automatic Wafer Creaming Apparatus
The ACR wafer cream spreading machine can apply any kind of fat cream to the wafer sheets. The cream is contact-spread by a rotating roller, whereby the cream on the roller touches the wafer during the application. The wafer can be fed to the spreading head either manually or by a feeder unit. After cream coating, the wafer sheets are collected into the wafer books. The spreading machine is equipped with a calibrated pressing roller to ensure good adhesion between different layers of cream and exact book heights.

K.I. Wafer Creaming Machine - (KI CR4)
K.I. CR4 Cream Spreading Machines type can apply a wide range of creams to all kinds of wafer sheets up to a width of 480 mm. These machines operate on the contact system but can also be supplied with an additional device for creaming by the film system. The spreading head contains a grooved spreading roller and a counter roller spreading roller are heated and thermostatically controlled. These two rollers are driven by an infinitely variable speed motor in opposite directions.
 
K.I. Wafer Creaming Machine - (KICR5)
This machine spreads creams automatically on wafer sheets and subsequently forms them into wafer blocks. This is a high-efficiency machine. 300 books can be spread and put together to make wafer blocks, of up to five sheets; in one hour. The desired quantity of the cream layers can be adjusted by means of a counting device. A stacking device puts the spread sheets together to make a wafer block. The machine has a spreading unit which operates using a contact system. The spreading rollers are heated by electricity and the heating is accurately adjustable. The number of revolutions made by the spreading rollers as well as the speed of conveyor belt are infinitely variable independent of each other.
 
K.I. Wafer Creaming Machine - (KICR6)
Spreading machines spread an exact amount of fat cream onto the wafer sheets and automatically stack the requested number of spread sheets together with the uncreamed top sheet into a wafer block. A thermostat allows to heat the cream spreading roller as well as the counter-roller up to an exact temperature. The speed of the two rollers and of the spreading belt can be steplessly adjusted, independently of each other.

WAFER TURNING DEVICE

In large scale production when many wafer machines must be installed in an existing production area, or in to an existing production line a layout is required, in which the length and breadth of the wafer can be inter changed this facilities the orientation wafer sheet to the correct layout for the next process.

BOOK COOLER MACHINE

Book cooler is a machine used for cooling the cream between the wafer books before they enter the cutting machine. The cooling capacity can be changed according to the product requirement & capacity required. There are three types of Book Cooler Machine of different sheet size.

WAFER CUTTING DEVICE

These machines take over the cooled-down wafer blocks coming from the cooling device or creaming machine and cut them into required number of blocks. These are used for cutting flat and Hollow Wafers filled with cream.
 
Automatic Wafer Cutting Machine (WC)
This machine can handle different sizes of wafer sheets (230 mm x 290 mm, ......). These are fully automatic machines for cutting flat and Hollow wafers filled with cream. In the cutting operation the wafer book are first pushed through one set of cutters and then at a right angle (perpendicular) through a second set of cutters. Fixed and tensioned cutting wires in removable frames are used. Changeover to other cutting sizes is facilitated by quickly and easily changing the cutting frames and pushers. These machines are designed for high-capacity plants. It occupies less space.
 
Wafer Cutting Apparatus - (KI WCM)
This machine is manually operated and cuts wafer blocks to small wafer fingers of predetermined dimensions. The cutter frame and feed bar can be exchanged to produce other size of biscuits. The machine is used for cutting of small scale output.
 
Wafer Cutting Machine (KI WC3)
This machine is attached with a pneumatic pusher. The wafer books coming from the Book Cooler are fed to the cutting machine through intermediate conveyor where in first the pneumatic pusher allows the wafer book to feed them at first cut and simultaneously a gentle press is applied for a gentle press required for the stack wafer books at the process of cutting.
 
Wafer Cutting Machine - (KI WC4)
This machine is attached with a pneumatic pusher & an additional conveyor. The wafer books coming from the Book Cooler are fed to the cutting machine through intermediate conveyor where in first the pneumatic pusher allows the wafer book to feed them at first cut and simultaneously a gentle press is applied for a gentle press required for the stack wafer books at the process of cutting.
