Introduction:
K.I. – ECS is an emulsifiable concentrate of Nitrocellulose Lacquer having excellent water resistance. It imparts high gloss to the finish.

Applications
• K.I. – ECS is mainly used for spray top of full grain upper, garment leathers and corrected upper grains.
• One part of K.I. – ECS can be diluted with 2 parts of water or thinner.

» KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 61 COMPACT (Compact Acrylic Binder )

INTRODUCTION
KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 61 is a milky white dispersion of medium viscosity and good stability. This modified mixed polymer produces medium soft and elastic film which is strongly filling.

Composition : Blend of soft waxes and polymeric additives.
 
Application
KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 61 produces good filled finishes and is thus specially suited for splits and grain leather of all types, both buffed and full grain, where better sorting values are sought after. Finishes with KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 61 can be applied by padding, spraying, curtain coating or roller coating.

» KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 71

INTRODUCTION
 
KRISHNACRYL – K.I.- 71 is a micro emulsion of acrylic copolymer designed for surface impregnation of leather to bond the grain layer to the corium as a means of upgrading lower quality stock. Leather impregnated with this polymer has improved break , increased scuff resistance and higher cutting values. In general , impregnated leather can be finished with fewer coats and exhibits good smoothness and layout.
 
KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 71 also offers the advantage of involving no hazardous solvent, requiring no special equipment and no unusual drying or curing cycles.

APPLICATIONS
KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 71 is particularly well suited for either hand swab or season application. For best results it is usually necessary to apply two or three successive coats making sure that no drying occurs between the coats. If drying does take place, it will prevent penetration of subsequent applications. It is important to note that sufficient materials must be deposited at the junction of the grain layer and the corium to upgrade leather.

KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 71 has good penetrating characteristics and is designed for application at 13 % to 15 % solids on snuffed leathers of all types.

KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 71 has a small molecular size which makes it especially suitable for impregnating vegetable retanned side leathers.

KRISHNACRYL K.I.-100 is a new generation medium soft binder with excellent elastomeric properties ideal for good filling and covering application. It is recommended for use in base coats and color coats of corrected grain leathers.

General information
KRISHNACRYL K.I.-100 forms an excellent substrate for finishing applications. Hence it is used as a soft binder in the formulation of base coats like sheep skin and bovine leather. This also eliminates the need for use of PU binder. The unique properties of K.I.-100 make it ideal for use in the formulations of base coats/colour coats of full and corrected grains and split leathers and gives excellent results on smooth upper, goat upper lining etc.

» KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 901
INTRODUCTION
 
KRISHNACRYL – K.I.- 901 is an aqueous acrylic dispersion which forms a dry, hard glossy film. The outstanding characteristics of this new binder make it useful in many finishing applications on various types of leathers in colour coats and top coats used in combination with selected auxiliaries.
KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 901 shows promising applicability in shoe dressings.

: Agreeable ester odour.

APPLICATIONS
This new top finish, based on KRISHNACRYL – K.I. – 901 gives a good slick feel. It can be plated at a relatively high temperature of 170ºF. The finish will be highly resistant to discolouration by heat and humidity and is not affected by exposures to light.

Nature
KRISHNALAC HG is a nitrocellulose based lacquer emulsion with balanced flow and gloss properties.

: Milky white emulsion
Solid : 13.0%-14.0%
Stability : stable under standard conditions in tap water and  hard  water
 

KRISHNALAC -  HG  in top coat gives good gloss. It also gives good rub fastness.
It also imparts to the leather high temperature plateability and natural handle.
 
Application

Best applied by spray coating, KRISHNALAC - HG can be diluted with water
1:1.5 or 2:1 depending upon the requirement of fastness and gloss respectively.

INTRODUCTION
KRISHNAPROOF is an effective & economical preservative preventing fungal attack on hides and skins during different steps of tannery operations and subsequent storage. It is PCP free organic preservative and is based on complex organic material having high penetrating and dispersing properties on hides and skins.

APPLICATIONS

Dosage for preserving varies from 0.15 % - 0.30 % The amounts mentioned are guidelines indications only. The actual quantity required for protection against mould/fungus depends on various factors viz. climate, structure of hide & skin, duration of storage etc
 
STORAGE & HANDLING
KRISHNAPROOF should be stored in cold & dry place in closed containers. Usual precautions recommended for handling the chemicals should be taken.
 
HEALTH & SAFETY DATA

Wear hand gloves and safety goggles while handling the material. If comes in contact with skin or eyes , wash with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
If the spillage occurs, wash the area with plenty of water.
 

NOTE – The product does not contain PCP( penta chlorophenate ) and any type of phenol based compounds. Neither these products are a part of the formulation nor it contains these chemicals.

» KRISHNATAN – RE ( Acrylic Tanning Agent )

INTRODUCTION
 
KRISHNATAN – RE is highly viscous but readily pourable and dilutable with water. The product is not miscible with cationic products i.e. mineral tanning agent but perfectly compatible with synthetic and vegetable tanning agents,sulphited fatliquors,anionic dyes and other anionic products. This product may precipitate if pH is less than 4.

: Pale yellow / Brown viscous liquid.
Solid Content

: 35 +/- 1 %
pH value : 5 - 7
Nature : Synthetic Organic Resin Tanning Agent.
 
APPLICATIONS
Very small amount of KRISHNATAN – RE makes the leather grain fully tight without impairing the fineness of the grain and natural feel.

KRISHNATAN – RE is light fast and gives level shades when used in white leather. It gives higher degree of whiteness on pale chrome leathers.

KRISHNATAN – RE can be readily finished and adhesion of the finish is improved in comparison to the other conventionally re-tanned leather.

» SYNTAN - 40

INTRODUCTION

Syntan – 40 is an aqueous solution of synthetic tanning agent for chrome leather.

Appearance

: Cream white viscous liquid.
Solid Content

: 39 % - 41 %
pH value : 2.5 – 3.5
Charge : Anionic
Applications
• Use above chrome leather with pH 3.8 to 4.0.
• Wash for 10 minutes.
• Drain to short float.
• Add 4-5 % of Syntan – 40.
• Run 40 minutes and test for exhaustion.
• Neutralise to pH 5 by Sodium Bicarbonate.
• Rinse to Fatliquor temp.50 – 60ºC.Drain Fatliquor.
Bleaching Chrome Leather
• Shaved chrome leather pH 4.
• Wash for 15 minutes.
• Drain.
• Add 1 % oxalic acid.
• Run for 15 minutes Drain Refloat.
• Add 5 % Syntan – 40.
• Run for 30 minutes.
• Rinse to fatliquor temperature 60ºC.
• Drain and fatliquor.

Advantages
• This syntan plumps leather more than all other retans.
• Effect of Temper is comparable to that of Chrome Retannage.
• Leather retanned by Syntan – 40 are superior in light fastness to other agents.
• Superior ageing stability.

INTRODUCTION

T.R.O. is a powerful surface active agent having wide applications. This product is based on vegetable oils and is totally bio-degradable and eco friendly.

Appearance : Pale yellow to brown colored transparent liquid.
Ionic Nature : Anionic.
