| APPLICATION DETAILS |
KRISHNOL 3141 is a copolymer of acrylate monomers in the form of milky white free flowing emulsion. It is especially tailored for the use as an rheology modifier and alkali swellable thickener in water based medium to low PVC paints. When used in paint system in alkaline pH it gives good thickening with excellent viscosity stability on storage. The amount of KRISHNOL 3141 can be used upto 2 parts on paint weight basis depending upon the viscosity requirement. |

| RECOMMENDATION FOR USE |
KRISHNOL 3141 is recommended to be used after completion of mill base preparation and pH adjustment to 9.0. KRISHNOL 3141 needs to be added slowly under slow stirring and thorough mixing. The temperature during mixing should not exceed 45 ºC. |

| STORAGE CONDITIONS |
| The product should be stored indoors in the original unopened and undamaged packing in a dry place, preferably in a temperature of 5 -35 ºC. Exposure to direct sunlight and frost should be avoided. |

| HEALTH AND SAFETY |
1. It is nonflammable, nontoxic and non-hazardous under normal conditions of use.
2. Splashes in the eyes and on the skin should be immediately washed with plenty of water to
avoid irritation and discomfort.
3. Prolonged skin contact should be avoided. Protective gloves and barrier creams are advisable
for anyone handling resin products regularly.
4. Proper ventilation should be provided in the work area as with all synthetic resins. It contains
traces of residual monomer and organic substances. Smoking should be discouraged in the
work area.
5. Spillage on clothing and in work areas should be immediately washed with water. |
